Workshop gives local businesses a head start with technology

Business Systems Services (UK) Ltd (BSS) will be showing local businesses how to use the latest technology to their advantage at a workshop being held at their offices on 25th April, which will address many of the everyday problems that small businesses face.
Most businesses will be familiar with issues such as internet security threats, managing email, managing relationships with their customers and suppliers, ensuring their valuable business information is safely stored, and sharing information between staff. BSS will be demonstrating how it has helped some of its customers deal effectively with these and other similar problems.
Rob Jones, the Business Development Director said: "Most small businesses face these same issues, day-in-day-out and it can be daunting trying to get on top of them without the right help and advice. Technology can help small businesses to become more efficient, but in our experience many business owners say they need help to cope with the bewildering array of potential solutions being marketed at them. As a Microsoft partner specialising in the Small Business Server system we are experts in helping businesses deal with exactly this sort of issue."
Rob continued: "We hope that by sharing some of our collective experience we can get business people thinking about how they can use IT to get away from operational difficulties and get on with doing what they do best - running their business."
