Hardware Maintenance
Your computer has stopped working, your support engineer has come and had a look and now you need to pay £700 for parts! And you've only had it a year! An optional Hardware Maintenance module can be tacked onto any support contract to help in situations like this.
What is it?
Hardware Maintenance is in addition to a support contract and will cover any agreed piece of kit, be it a Desktop computer, an UPS or a printer. Once it has been determined that the hardware is at fault BSS will repair or replace it, in 99.9% of cases this will be by the next working day, enabling you to carry on business as normal. We will then pick up the faulty equipment and do our best to fix it. We will do our utmost to recover any data and restore it to get you up and running as soon as possible, including any software needed.
If the product is under warranty we will deal with the supplier to get it sorted for you, leaving you hassle-free. Sometimes older equipment (typically anything over 3 years old) is deemed beyond economical repair, in this case we will do you a great deal on getting a brand new shiny piece of kit.

What it Costs
Hardware maintenance is charged as a percentage of the equipment agreed.
